“Laughter Throught Tears” – TBE Presents Dr. Lawrence Baron

November 14, 2015     7:00 PM

Clear your calendar for Saturday night, November 14th at 7:00 PM,

as Temple Beth El proudly welcomes distinguished author,

Dr. Lawrence Baron.

Dr. Baron, a visiting professor at Stockton University, will be our special guest speaker presenting “Laughter Through Tears” – a lecture on movie comedies about the Holocaust.  Dr. Baron will be presenting clips from such outstanding films as, “The Producers”, “The Great Dictator” and “Seven Beauties.”

We are thrilled for this rare opportunity to have the esteemed Dr. Baron, one of America’s leading authorities on how the Holocaust is portrayed in the cinema, with us on November 14th.  The lecture and film showing begin at 7:00 PM.

And, if FREE just happens to be your favorite price, then, we have great news!  This outstanding presentation is FREE and open to the public – but, of course, Temple Beth El – given our space limitations – is likely to fill up rather quickly.  So, do make plans to attend a very special evening – one that promises to be both informative and entertaining (not to mention FREE – - – *Donations, as always, are graciously accepted*).
